As the Weltkrieg ends, and the year transitions, the Fatherland enters a new era of prosperity and peace. Not only that, but the Fatherland has greatly expanded it's colonial influence, with having gained multiple colonies in West Africa and Central Africa and the establishment of Dominions in Scandinavia and Romania. The Fatherlands allies have also greatly expanded their influence, with Iberia annexing the majority of Southern France, Morocco and the vast majority of West Africa. Italy has also fully unified, annexed portions of Southern France, the majority of North Africa and East Africa while setting up a dominion in Central Africa.
With the recent controversy regarding Byzantium going on in Iberia, the main Syndicalist protests in occupied Southern France have ceased, however in Aragon and Catalonia, the Anarcho Syndicalists of the CNT FAI continue unmoved, seeing hostility to both Byzantium and the Iberian government. Not only that, they have been receiving International Support from the French Syndicalists and Finnish Anarcho Communists, with British and Irish Syndicalists showing interest in sending aid to the CNT FAI. As the largest trade union in Iberia, the CNT FAI already had considerable influence previously, but as of now it's never been stronger.
It is quit clear that if the Iberian Government does not do something soon, a deceleration of Independence will be the least of their worries, as open Revolution becomes a bigger possibility each day, especially with how poorly the Iberian Government tried to settle the CNT FAI revolts previously.
The Fatherland and Italy refuse to act on this situation as of now, as an outside force would only worsen the Iberian situation. The Fatherland also refuses to act, since the Weltkrieg has just ended, and much more support for industry and infrastructure is being made, public opinion on the matter is simply against supporting the Situation, with Italy is a much similar situation.
